Through my close interactions with the guys, I realized one thing – every guy wants to be the guy with the best lady. However, not every guy is qualified for that position.

Just the way I told the ladies to be an eagle that does not perch on anyhow surface, the guys ought to be such that when a lady has him, she becomes happy and peaceful. A queen deserves a king. Are you a king? Are you the guy dripping with sauce?

Being a king means that every lady should be comfortable in your company. That is, amid numerous ladies, your queen should stand out. This means that not every fish should be found in your net.

In short, most guys come to me, asking for ways they could ‘shoot their shot’ and get the attraction of that lady who drips wet with intelligence and beauty and is lovable.

I want to give you the following tips on how to be the man every lady desires. The guy with the sauce is excellent in many things. Now, I do not want you to envy that guy around you, who uses and dumps girls and makes them feel worthless. I want you to be a one-lady man and stick to it. Are you game?

Be confident.

I have met a lot of guys in this life, believe me. The ones I cannot put up with are those guys who cannot stand a savvy, confident lady. I mean, how can you not stand a lady? There was this guy that was talking like a juvenile, he wanted to ask me out, but could not stand my boldness. I just shook my head because I did not come for a ‘toasting’ class.

What attracts a lady first to a guy, aside from his dress sense, is his confidence. Don’t be a shy guy. Don’t see certain ladies as unapproachable just because you cannot stand them. Your confidence is not just when you are talking to her, but in everything you do.

Dress like a king.

You cannot look like a chicken that is drenched in the rain and you want an eagle to take a second look at you. Know how to combine dresses and wear something that gives you a fine appearance. Go for quality clothes. It is better to have a few of them than to have so many clothes that could pass for a rag. Dress the way you want to be addressed. That is how to be a guy dripping with sauce.

Many women go for a guy who wears jeans and a T-shirt with canvas shoes to go for it. Or, a guy who wears a fitted suit with the right combination of accessories. When your suit is not fitted, you cannot look attractive.

When the colors on your body are doing riot, you can only attract a lady who makes a mockery of you. Ensure you have a nice haircut, and always look neat and ‘takeaway’. It is not only the ladies that should look takeaway, you should also look takeaway. What am I saying? Always look good.

Be interesting to be with.

Some guys can make you laugh and forget your sorrow, others can be so boring that you would ask yourself what you were actually doing with him. When you are with a lady, she wants you to be more intelligent than she is.

She wants a man she can run to when she is confused and go back happily. She wants a guy who knows almost all the topics and can handle every situation, not a man who cries more than she does.

Be that man she feels something is amiss if he has not spoken to her. There are times we will meet a guy and we want something beyond a conversation; we want you to ask for our number. In that same situation, another guy is begging to collect our number and we are feeling like he is not worth it. The ‘juju’ is in the conversation. How did you make her feel?

Have a goal.

I have had to ask a guy what his plans in life were and he could not say anything. It is not that he did not want to reveal something to me, but he had no plans for life. He wants to follow life as it appears. And guy, you want a sassy lady to marry that kind of guy? Rethink!

Always have something you want to achieve. Not when you have only a television and a piece of furniture, the next thing on your agenda is to get married. At that point, every lady you meet, you are thinking of settling down with her.

Before you think of settling down, ensure you have got to that point where, even if you lose your current job, you will be able to bounce back. Laziness aside, some men actually want to be useful after losing their first job, but they lack what to do.

When you set your goals, always have a plan B. This means an extra skill is needed to make you stand out. A man close to me lost his job immediately after he got married.  Since then, he has been working from home and providing for the family. Now, he is set to establish his own business. What made the difference? He had planned his life long before getting married.

Get a mentor.

A mentor helps you plan your life well. I know a very talented guy that does not have a clear direction. He has skills that could make him outstanding, but he is still struggling financially. When I asked someone close to him, he told me that the guy is really hardworking, and from our conversation, I discovered one thing – that talented guy lacks someone who could point the way for him.

Mentorship is very important. Find someone who has gone the way you are going and get attached to him. Learn work from him and do anything you can to become a mentor too. Books, inspirational tapes, seminars, and so on, also help you to be outstanding. I have seen guys who did not go to higher institutions and still perform at their peak. I have also seen graduates struggling to stand.

Promote equality.

See your partner as an equal and not a slave. Some men have ladies who could make them outstanding in society, but they choose to make her seen and not heard. Do not see a woman as just a tool to give birth, cook, and clean the house. That is why you must go for a lady who has driven.

Support her dreams and make her the center of attraction. Also, apologize when you offend her. Apology is not gender-based and has no ‘female’ ascribed to it. So get to apologize and forgive as quickly as you can. Holding grudges and proving you are the man does not make sense in a relationship where equality thrives.

Be the man in the relationship.

When I see a man whose girlfriend or wife shouts into silence, one thing is certain – the woman is the man and vice versa. When you provide everything for her, you deserve her 100% respect, no apologies. You don’t even have to provide everything for her to deserve her respect. So, when you are that man who provides, ensure you behave in such a way that proves that you are in charge. You do not need to shout at her or beat her because you are the man. What do you do? Set a standard at the beginning.

Setting a standard means spelling out to her what you can and cannot take. You do not do this by writing a list of do’s and don’ts. You do it by behaving the kind of life you want her to follow. See, we ladies like being in charge, and most times, if we meet a guy who does not ‘mind,’ we tend to override him and underestimate his capabilities. We do not just get you subdued, we do it one step at a time.

In essence, when she tends to bite more than she can chew, get her to understand that she is crossing her boundaries. When she tries it again, pass the information again. Keep doing that until she gets the message.

In your discussions, chip in your standards. Let her know things you cannot tolerate. IT WILL DEFINITELY PENETRATE. And if she is a lady that respects boundaries, she will get the information and act accordingly. If she is not, she will meet the next guy. Hey! Setting a standard does not mean you should be an Egyptian taskmaster. Be empathetic and overlook some things sometimes. Let her feel free with you, even while respecting you.

To be the guy dripping with sauce, you must make honesty your watchword. Only then, will your standards be taken seriously. When you say you are at a particular place, let it be where you are.

Do not be a man with many tongues. When you see something that does not add up, condemn it. Don’t sell your birthright for a morsel of food. Integrity makes you outstanding and gives you an edge over other people. She will trust and respect you. She will do anything to be with you because you are rare.

Be romantic.

A romantic guy is a confident guy. This is where some guys mess it up sometimes. Let me put it better- be a refined man. Do those things a refined man does in movies. You see the way those ladies blush when they are complimented? Act that way, we like it.

A romantic guy cooks sometimes and invites her to dinner. He draws out the chair. He compliments her hair, looks, and so on. He opens the car door. He treats her like a queen to the envy of other ladies around. He takes her to interesting places she has not been before. He picks up the bill and does not expect her to pay, especially on their first dates.

If you cannot afford expensive places, take her to where you can afford. Do not go to an expensive place and expect her to see you as a guy who is still managing financially. Typically, she will order expensive items, thinking you are capable of the bills. You can tell her ahead regarding the place you want to take her to. It is more honorable that way.

In addition, if your woman needs some money and you can afford it, give her. If you cannot afford it, let her know in a more respectable way than to lie to her and play hide and seek. Do you know what some unromantic guys call a man who takes care of his woman? They call him a simp. But do not mind them, you are doing the right thing.

Yes, both of you may not marry, but do not date her because you want to sharpen your ‘machine gun’. When you are asking a lady out and discover that she is not your dream girl, let her off the hook as quickly as possible, instead of deceiving her. Don’t be a man carrying loads of tears of many ladies because you have broken their hearts.
